The phenomenon of disappearance and immateriality are at the center of my artistic research. Wind and the notion of mourning have accompanied me for some time.
For the intervention at AZ Sport the artist developed a spacial poem that grew out of her master thesis «this is how you dis/appear».
The piece a conversation IV interacts with the weather and the public space, its trees, passersby, and coincidental encounters. Within this continual transformation the poem itself becomes a matter of change. A conversation about what might have been there or what could appear. A conversation about the spaces in between, temporality and loss. A conversation about the materiality of disappearing.
Investigating how words interact with their environment, a conversation IV invites you to move around, take different points of view and spend time.
