Le Déserteur
Digital film on screen, 25’04’’, 2024
The lyrical narrator approaches a cave castle near Sierre through repetitive visits and observations. The architectural structure is linked by the narrator to the shelters of St. Hermit figures from early Renaissance paintings. In the intimate atmosphere of the studio, this process is reflected through a collection of drawings. Imagination and nostalgia fill the knowledge gaps that archaeological research did not cover.
